What is an Agent Team?
Agent Team is the Top-Level Container or Workspace that groups together one or more related AI Agents
Single Agent Team with Single Tool:
- Where there is exactly one agent.
- Agent uses one Tool.
- Tool is pipeline to fetch and serve one document.
Key Point: All functionality lives in Agent, very easy to build.
Example: Imagine a chat bot that only helps user get the relevant data and it doesn’t need to coordinate with any other agents.
Single Agent Team with Single Tool and Single Topic
- Still a single agent, but now its work is split across Tools and Topics.
- Tools perform tasks like getting data from the source.
- Topics guide how the agent interacts with the user and retrieves the data.
- However, for the most current specifics or detailed case studies, one would typically refer to Oracle’s official communications or direct consultations. 
Key Point: One agent wears many hats by orchestrating sub tasks into dedicated modules.
Example: Smart assistant that can help with several requests: verifying identity, answering questions, etc.
Multiple Agents Team
- The team of agents that is managed by the Supervisor.
- Each Agent has its own Tools and Topics.
- Supervisor routes user request to the correct specialist agent.
Key Point:
High scalability and specialization – agents can be developed and updated independently, all coordinated by the supervisor.
Example:
In a large HR Help System, one agent helps with benefits, another with payroll, another with leave management – all coordinated by a supervisor agent to give the user a seamless experience.
